Urethral stricture disease should be considered in the differential diagnosis of any male presenting with weak stream, incomplete emptying, dysuria or recurrent UTIs. Once the diagnosis is made, determining the length and location of the stricture is imperative for proper management. A wide variety of techniques are necessary to appropriately treat the diversity of urethral strictures so referral to urologists with experience in urethral reconstruction is recommended.1,2
