Urodynamics (UDS) is the dynamic study of the storage and evacuation of urine. It is an interactive diagnostic study of the lower urinary tract composed of a number of tests that can be used to obtain functional information about urine storage and emptying.1 Urodynamics is one objective way to determine why people have lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).2 The aim of UDS is to reproduce the symptom(s) of the patient under controlled and measurable conditions, so that the cause of the symptoms can be determined and useful, objective information can be provided to the clinician.2
